No Dray-offs

What is dray-off?

Dray-off is when a container, cargo, chassis, etc., is transferred from a compliant drayage truck to a non-compliant drayage truck.

Which trucks are affected?

All trucks operating in California that transport containers, cargo, chassis, etc., coming into or out of California ports or intermodal
rail yard facilities, are considered drayage trucks and must comply.

Who is responsible?

Both the truck owner and motor carrier. Both parties are subject to substantial fines for dispatching or operating non-compliant
drayage trucks.
